If your request is urgent and you require immediate medical care, please call 111 or 999 in case of an emergency.
Calls are scheduled on a first-come-first served basis and everyone is offered the same or next day call (Monday – Friday). We are happy to support mums based outside of Gloucestershire but in times of high demand we may need to prioritise those more local to us.
We provide time slots of approximately 20-30 minutes.
Our qualified Breastfeeding Counsellors are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about breastfeeding, expressing or mixed feeding and will support you at any stage of your breastfeeding journey (including pregnancy, re-lactation, ending your breastfeeding journey and reflecting on past breastfeeding experiences including breastfeeding grief).
You don’t need to have a specific reason to submit a support request – they are also here to chat over a virtual cup of tea and biscuit.
It is important that you give an email address that you check regularly. You’ll be contacted by a member of our GBSN team on the email you provide in your request form.
We aim to check and respond to all emails at approximately 8pm, Sunday – Friday.
If you submit a form overnight and we have capacity, you may be offered a same day call (Monday to Friday). If you don’t hear from us, check your junk inbox for a message from [email protected].
Please note that GBSN only offers video calls as our charity is based on a model of providing face-to-face support. If you would prefer to have a voice only call for breastfeeding support, we recommend you contact the National Breastfeeding Helpline.
